Rüegg Gartendesign

The Rüeggs are gardeners in Männedorf, which happens to be my village, so this commission travelled about four minutes. They wanted portraits, and they were clear about one thing: nothing grey, nothing standard, nothing that looks like the back page of an annual report.

So we built something more constructed than my usual work: shot in the studio, then composed and finished in Photoshop until the portraits had the boldness they were after. More poster than headshot, by design.

They're pleased, I'm told regularly, since in a village this size you meet your clients at the bakery.
